Description
Giantland Mickey Mouse and Related Animation Drawings Group pf 3 (Walt Disney, 1933). Mickey plays the title role in this version of "Jack and the Beanstalk" and is dodging peas in the giant's mouth in this amazing matched set of three original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. These are from the Burt Gillett-directed short that was released to theaters on 11/25/33. The full-figure drawing of Mickey trying to side-step the peas rolling off the giant's knife is in graphite with an approximate image size of 2.5" x 2.5", and is numbered 68 in the lower right. The drawing of the peas and knife are in graphite and red pencil, image size 5" x 2", and numbered 23; both this and the Mickey drawing are seen at about the 3:46 mark. The drawing of the giant's mouth is in graphite with red and green pencils and painter notes, and is numbered as 1 in the lower right; image size is about 9.25" x 7", and can be seen a second after the other two.
