Description

Moose Hunters Donald Duck Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1937). Moose hunter Donald plops down on a bee-filled bush in this scene from the short directed by Ben Sharpsteen, which was released to theaters on 2/20/37. In this pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings, Donald is the rear end of a moose camouflage costume (Goofy is in the front half). In the drawing noted as 42 in the lower right corner, Donald has just plopped down on some bushes; the art is in graphite with red and green pencil with an overall image size of 6.5" x 4". In drawing #73, Donald quickly jumps up when he realizes there's more to that bush than just leaves, and he desperately tries to free himself from the costume; art is in graphite and red pencil, with an approximate image size of 8" x 5". Very Good condition with minor hand and edge wear, with mild paper toning.
