Sport Goofy in Soccermania Goofy Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1987). Here's a great image of Goofy from the 1987 featurette Sport Goofy in Soccermania. During its debut, it was preceded by a mockumentary showing past Goofy cartoons of him always getting everything wrong, leading into this special where the audience is finally shown a competent, Sport Goofy who is the hero. Hand-painted on 12 field acetate and framed to 18" x 15" with an 8.5" x 11.5" aperture. The setup was gifted to Walt Disney Feature Animation's then-president Peter Schneider. The cel is in Very Good condition. Frame sold as-is.From the Peter Schneider Collection, President of Disney Feature Animation (1986 - 1999).
