Description
Pete's Dragon Elliott Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1977). "You made everybody happy, especially me. I'm very proud of you." Pete tells Elliot, a wide smile on his face, in what will soon become a bittersweet moment. This endearing hand-inked and hand-painted 16 field closeup of the dragon can be found towards the end of the film at about 2:05:54 as Pete congratulates Elliot on helping the town, though his good mood will soon change when his friend reveals he will have to leave forever. Elliot's sad smile says it all, measuring about 7.5'' x 8.25'' in a 13.75'' x 10.25'' mat window. The cel is presented in a 22'' x 18'' glass frame with a Walt Disney seal in the bottom right and a Certificate of Authenticity on the back. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. This lot is in Very Good condition overall with only minor handling wear and light paper fragments around the eyes and one eyebrow.
