The Pink Panther Show "Pink S.W.A.T." Production Cel Setup Signed by Friz Freleng on The Pink Panther "Werewolf in Panther's Clothing" 30.5'' Pan Master Background (DePatie-Freleng/MGM, 1978/1993). Pinky finds himself in a frustrating situation in this incredible production cel and pan Master production background from two iterations of The Pink Panther series! The hand-painted cel features Pinky in his signature pink linework from the 1970 series The Pink Panther Show, created for about 3:05 in "Pink S.W.A.T." as he reaches for his fly swatter to kill a pesky fly. The incredible hand-painted gouache and color pencil 30.5'' x 10.5'' pan master background was created on background board and can be found at roughly 1:12 as Pinky walks through a European village, searching for the werewolf hiding there. To make things even better, the cel in this lot has been signed by the legendary Friz Freleng (1905 - 1995), the creator of the Pink Panther as well as other iconic characters like Porky Pig and Yosemite Sam. The cel is marked P-7 with a Pink Panther seal while the background is noted BG 20B. Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear and pinholes from studio use.Auction Info
