Description
The Fox and the Hound Boomer and Squeeks Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1981). "Ok Boomer, he's right... THERE!" Boomer tries to make Squeeks his lunch in this hilariously kinetic original production cel from Disney's 1981 classic The Fox and the Hound. Voiced by the great Paul Winchell known for his extensive work as Tigger, Boomer along with his sparrow friend Dinky make it their mission to catch and devour poor Squeeks throughout the film. From his second attempt to make the caterpillar his snack, Boomer can be spotted absolutely reverberating with his own pecking power near the 14:57 timestamp as a concealed Squeeks clings to his beak for dear life. The mismatched pair have both been hand-painted to full-figure sharing a combined image area of 6" x 6.5" nicely centered on the 16 field cel which has been paired with a print background for display purposes. The cel is numbered 35 in the lower right and bears a silver Disney seal in the lower left, having been laminated by the Studio in a common preservation practice at the time of its original sale. With typical handling and edge wear including small areas of minor haloing from the noted lamination, overall this practically quivering production cel is in Good condition.Auction Info
