Who Found Roger Rabbit Toontown Pre-Production Background by Don Moore (Walt Disney/Amblin, c. 1980s-90s). A rare one is presented here! From the Who Found Roger Rabbit project that was never finished, we offer this extraordinary pre-production exploratory background painting of Toontown. The fictitious city is near Los Angeles where animated characters, also known as Toons, live. This gorgeous background was hand-painted by veteran background painter Don Moore. Known for his lush detailed background paintings, Moore's list on impressive credits include Tarzan (1999), Hercules (1997), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Pocahontas (1995) and The Lion King (1994) to name but a few. This Toontown background was painted using gouache on 15" x 12" background board with an image area of 12.5" x 10". Condition is Fine.
