"Thanks Mickey for 60 Happy Years!" Mickey Mouse Limited Edition Lithograph #536/2500 (Walt Disney, 1988). This is a special limited edition print by Charles Boyer for Mickey's 60th Birthday celebration at Disneyland. The long-sold out print is signed and numbered 536/2500 by the artist Charles Boyer (1932 - 2021). Boyer had the unique distinction of having been Disneyland's first full-time artist and eventually was elevated to become Disneyland's master illustrator. He captured in his work the unique and fanciful spirit of Disney characters and theme park environments. His limited edition prints have long been popular with collectors all over the world. In 2005 was inducted into Disney's hall of fame program as an official Disney Legend. This hard-to-find print contains a Disneyland embossed logo in the lower left. The piece measures 18" x 24", framed to 24" x 29". Frame sold as-is. This special print comes to auction from the personal collection of Disney Legend and animator, David Hand.
