Description

Spider-Man Jigsaw Puzzle Illustration Original Art (Marvel/Whitman, 1976). Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swings into action to break up a street brawl, in this tremendous jigsaw puzzle illustration! It's a huge image, unsigned but in the style of "Jazzy" John Romita, Spidy's main artist from 1966 to '71, and on the newspaper strip from 1977 to 1980. This illustration is framed but appears to consist of a hand-inked black line image placed over a painted board to create a single image. A Marvel copyright notice strip is pasted on the cel in the upper right corner. Spider-Man's approximate image size is 8.5" x 10.25". The art is matted with an opening of 14.5" x 18.5"; the glass-front frame measures 21.25" x 25". The metal frame has a few very minor contact marks. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Art condition is Very Good to Fine with some light handling wear in the background.
