Description
Alice in Wonderland Model Sheet Group of 11 (Walt Disney, 1951). A who's who of beloved characters from the 1951 surreal animated masterpiece Alice in Wonderland, presented are 11 model sheets featuring the Cheshire Cat, The Mad Hatter, The White Rabbit and The Caterpillar, and seven of these sheets feature the charming Alice herself. A wide variety of poses and expressions, these rare character model sheets were printed on photographic paper by the Walt Disney Studio and given to animators for the purpose of ensuring accurate and consistent character design throughout the making of Alice in Wonderland. Printed in very limited quantities, studio model sheets like these are considered extremely rare and highly coveted by collectors. The sheets measure 14" x 11", and they show varying degrees of handling and edge wear with slight wrinkling and age-related toning. Some sheets show light tearing, folding and pinholes in corners, and the condition overall is Very Good.From the Disney Artist/Director Ted Berman Archive.
