Description
Sleeping Beauty Merryweather Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1959). Merryweather, the shortest (and feistiest!) of the three good fairies, honors us with her presence in this lot that showcases a trio of animation drawings from Sleeping Beauty. These three pictures were created for the scene that takes place starting at the 5:21 mark of the timeless Disney classic, as the fairy makes her entrance on the birth celebration of Princess Aurora. Rendered in graphite and colored pencil, Merryweather is shown measuring 4" to 4.5" tall on the 16-field animation sheets, numbered C115, C117, and C119 on the bottom right corners. Normal age-related toning can be seen on the drawings with some reinforced pegholes. In Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
