Description
Disney Studio Model Sheets Group of 17 (Walt Disney, c. 1930s). A fantastic assortment of 17 authentic studio-used model sheet prints from eight different classic Disney shorts. In visual arts, a model sheet is a document used to help standardize the appearance, poses, and gestures of a character. Model sheets are required when multiple artists are involved in production, to help maintain continuity in characters from scene to scene. These are printed on photographic paper in sizes of 10" x 12.5", 14" x 11", and 15.5" x 11", distributed only to animators working on each film. These model sheets are from The Whalers, Boat Builders, The Clock Tower, Trailer Troubles, Grand Opera, Dognappers, Mickey's Circus, and Mickey's Garden. Classic Disney characters Mickey, Goofy, Peg Leg Pete, and a long-Billed Donald Duck are all featured in this collection. All sheets have multiple images. Rare collection of vintage Disney model sheets! Condition is Good to Very Good overall with normal wear and tear as expected from production-used documents. One piece has a 2" tear in its lower border.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five. See also: Fab Five, Disney's Fab Five Artist.
