Walt Disney World - "The Magic Carpets of Aladdin" Project Team Gift (Walt Disney, 2001). Featured here is an outstanding Project Team gift from the "The Magic Carpets of Aladdin" attraction in Disney World. The attraction opened on 5/23/2001 and took park visitors on a magic carpet ride through the air, similar to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction. This amazing gift represents a key part of the ride itself, letting visitors control the height of the magic carpet by pressing and holding the scarab. This beautiful piece inspired by the hit animated feature looks to be created from resin and treated to look like wood, with beautiful designs adorning the center. The prop is presented on a fiber backing with a plaque reading 'The Magic Carpets of Aladdin Opening Day May 23, 2001, thank you for your efforts.' You don't have to wait until your next trip to the park - you can bring this piece of the magic home with you to add to your collection! The Project Team gift measures about 5.75'' x 6'' in an 8'' x 10'' Plexiglas frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
