Description
Naruto "The Final Rounds: Rush to the Battle Arena!" Naruto Uzumaki and Konohamaru Sarutobi Layout Drawing Group of 2 (Studio Pierrot, 2006). The young shinobi Konohamaru is featured in this lot accompanied by his idol, the titular Naruto in this lot which features two fantastic layout drawings from the prominent anime series. Used to produce episode 59 of the series, "The Final Rounds: Rush to the Battle Arena!" these layout drawings show the lively Konohamaru running in one of them and the character facing Naruto in the other one, both done in graphite with colored pencil details. Labeled as 172 in the top left corner, the drawing of Konohamaru running has the shinobi measuring 5.5" x 6.75", and was used to produce the scene at the 14:21 timestamp, as he tries to show Naruto a shortcut to the arena. Drawing 207 has Naruto standing at 7.5", with Konohamaru measuring 5.75", as seen at the 16:40 mark of the episode. Both drawings present staple holes near the top edge and show minor handling and edge wear from production. Drawing 207 shows some light crumpling in the top right corner.
