Description
YuYu Hakusho "Kuwabara: A Promise Between Men" Yusuke Urameshi and Botan Production Cel Setup with Production Background and Matching Animation Drawing (Pierrot, 1992). "Oh dear, this couldn't be Kuwabara-kun here, could it?" Yusuke and Botan discuss what doing "good things" could mean for him when a group of bullies try to steal Keiko's wallet, presenting him with the perfect opportunity. Or it would be, at least, if he could figure out how to interact with living things. This lovely production cel and matching animation drawing can be found at roughly 2:36 in Season 1 Episode 3, airing on 10/24/1992, as the pair spot the bullies below them. The full figure Yusuke and Botan measure roughly 9'' x 6.75'' combined on the cel and 9.25'' x 6.75'' on the drawing with the cel displayed on a beautiful gouache production background of the sky at sunset. The background is rendered on 11.25'' x 10.5'' background board and isn't from the episode, though it may be from the series. The cel and drawing are marked A24 and the background is noted C266.
