Sleeping Beauty "Chance Encounter" Briar Rose and Prince Phillip Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #18/250 (Walt Disney, 1959/2008). "I'm awfully sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you." "Oh, it... wasn't that. It's just that you're, uh, uh..." "A stranger?" Prince Phillip and Briar Rose (Princess Aurora) meet in the forest in this hand-inked and hand-painted limited edition cel, create from original production drawings used in animating the 1959 animated masterpiece Sleeping Beauty. The Walt Disney Ink and Paint Department created limited edition cels to be exclusively distributed among employees, this one titled "Chance Encounter." This image can be seen at the 31:17 mark of the film, a pivotal, unforgettable, classic scene. This 16 field cel is displayed on a printed background, and it bears a Walt Disney Animation Studios seal in the lower left corner. The piece is joined by a Certificate of Authenticity, and it is framed under glass with a mat window size of 16.25" x 6" and an overall frame size of 27" x 17". All frames are sold as-is.
