Sleeping Beauty "Mistress of Evil" Maleficent and Diablo Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #19/250 (Walt Disney, 1959/c. 2000s). From the 1959 Disney classic Sleeping Beauty, we have in this lot a sensational limited-edition cel that features an exceptionally wicked image of the heinous Maleficent and her faithful companion Diablo. Numbered 19/250, this hand-painted limited edition cel was created by the Ink and Paint Department at Walt Disney Studios to be distributed only to employees of the Walt Disney Company. This image of Maleficent smiling fiendishly was taken from the scene at the 8:33 mark of the movie and has the iconic villainess measuring an image size of 4.75" x 6", showcased on a high-quality printed background, and presenting a Walt Disney Animation Studios stamp in the bottom left corner. The cel is showcased on a 26.5" x 16.5" glass-fronted frame with a 16.5" x 6.5" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
