The Art of The Hunchback of Notre Dame SOLD-OUT Signed Still-Sealed Limited Edition Book #2431/2500 (Walt Disney/Hyperion, 1996). Here is one of the rare limited, numbered and signed edition copies of the lavish art book on the making of Disney's 1996 animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Authored by Stephen Rebello, the book is illustrated throughout in color and black-and-white with production art, photographs of artists and filmmakers at The Walt Disney Studios, and scenes from the movie, including several fold-out pages. This edition is special in several respects and differs from the edition that was sold in bookstores. It is signed by: Peter Schneider, President of Walt Disney Feature Animation; Don Hahn, Producer; and Directors Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise. The book is bound in leather with a gold-stamped cover and laid-in color picture, has gilt edge pages and signature/limitation page, and is housed in a handsome matching gold-stamped slipcase. Inside the slipcase with the book is a matted sericel of Quasimodo and Victor titled "Is Today the Day?" produced by Disney exclusively for this edition of the book; it is in a titled envelope with The Walt Disney Company Certificate of Authenticity. This edition was sold only in the Disney Stores and Catalogue and was originally priced at $250.00. The book is still shrinkwrapped as originally sealed by the publisher.
