DuckTales "Send in the Clones" Huey, Dewey, and Louie Production Cel Setup with Master Background (Walt Disney, 1987). In the first regular episode of this fun series based on comic book stories by Carl Barks, "Send in the Clones," Magica De Spell teams with the Beagle Boys in a plot to steal Uncle Scrooge's Number One Dime good-luck piece by using a cloning spell to create evil duplicates of Scrooge's great-nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, using three of the Beagles, Big-Time, Burger, and Babyface. Here are the "fake" Huey, Dewey, and Louie in a three-cel hand-painted 12 field setup; the boys appear (in separate poses) at the 4:45-46 marks, The background of the boys' room appears at the 5:39 mark. This is considered the first regular 30-minute episode, shown the following week from the two-hour movie that introduced the series, "Treasure of the Golden Suns" (which was later shown as a five-part serial). "Send in the Clones" first aired on 9/21/1987.The approximate figure sizes are 4.5" to 5", and the setup is matted with an opening of 9.5" x 7.5", with an overall mat size of 14.5" x 12.5".
