Dragon Ball GT Android 17 Production Cel with Production Background (Toei Animation, 1997). During their time in hell, the heinous doctors Gero and Myuu join their evil intellects to create a copy of Android 17. This new version of the android is fully obedient to his creators as opposed to his counterpart and was designed to fuse with the original Android 17 to create an even more powerful automaton dedicated to taking revenge on Goku. Presented in this lot is a two-layer production cel featuring a dramatic image of the sinister hell version of Android 17. The top layer showcases the character measuring 7" x 7" hand-painted on a 12 field sized production cel, numbered B7 in the top right corner, while the back layer displays flames on a 14" x 9" production cel. Both layers are stapled and taped together by the bottom edge, and they are presented on a production background measuring an image size of 12.5" x 9" and done in gouache on background board. The background has pinholes on the top corners. The top cel shows light curling and light fading on the linework. Overall, the lot shows minor handling wear from production and it's in Very Good condition.
