Tarzan Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Maquette #693/2200 (Walt Disney, 1999). "He was confused at first as if he had never seen another human before. His eyes were intense... and focused, and... This rare Tarzan maquette is a cherished collectible, gifted exclusively to the cast and crew members during the wrap party of Disney's 37th animated feature film, Tarzan. Numbered 693 out of a limited edition of 2200, this maquette is a testament to the appreciation and recognition of the team's efforts in bringing the iconic character to life. Sculpted by the talented Kent Melton and based on original designs by legendary Disney animator Glen Keane, this maquette served a crucial role in the animation process. Cast in resin, it allowed animators to maintain consistency in Tarzan's portrayal by providing a 360-degree view, ensuring that all drawings remained on-model and proportionally accurate throughout the production.
