Description
Shanghaied Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey springs into action in this rare sequence of four original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings from Shanghaied, directed by Burt Gillett and released on 1/13/1934. This is from the scene where a captured Mickey breaks free and reaches for a mounted swordfish to battle Pete and save Minnie. The sequence begins at about the 2:32 timestamp. The art is in graphite with approximate image sizes of 2.75" x 3" (drawing #11), 2.5" x 3.5" (#22), 2.25" x 3.75" (#24), and 3.5" x 3.25" (#28).
