Description
Tugboat Mickey Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Mickey captains a tugboat with Donald and Goofy as the crew. As Mickey is sealing the mast and dealing with an intoxicated pelican, he receives a distress signal of a sinking ship. Mickey calls the crew and has them fire up the engine. Tugboat Mickey was directed by Clyde Geronimi and released on 4/26/40. The short features the voice talents of Walt Disney as Mickey, Clarence Nash as Donald Duck, and Pinto Colvig as Goofy. In this lot we have a fantastic drawing of Mickey as he frantically rings the ship's bell. The image measures approximately 5.5" x 6", rendered in graphite with color pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. Mild handling and edge wear. Condition of the artwork is Very Good.Auction Info
