Description
Ghost in the Shell Tsuan Gen Fang Production Cel with Production Background and Animation Drawing (Production I.G, 1995). The ghosthacked criminal Tsuan Gen Fang, also known as Corgi, drops the empty magazine of his modified IMI Micro Uzi in this lot, showing a hand-painted production cel and matching animation drawing from the famous chase scene of Ghost in the Shell, a film turning 30 this year! Offering a spectacular low-angle image of the antagonist after emptying his ammunition against Togusa's truck was created to appear at the 18:21 mark of the film. Numbered A11 in the top right corner, the production cel presents the character with a figure size of 9" x 7", showcased a a production background of buildings seen from a low angle that enhances the image, created in gouache on 14.25" x 10" background board. The matching animation drawing shows Tsuan Gen Fang rendered in graphite and colored pencil. Some fading ink can be seen on the linework. The animation drawing presents paint residue from the production cel. The cel is taped to the background with archival artist tape. In Very Good condition with overall minor handling and edge wear from production and faint fading ink on the linework.Auction Info
