Donald Duck Studio Model Sheets Group of 19 (Walt Disney, c. 1930s-50s). An enormous collection of studio-printed model sheets featuring the one and only Donald Duck, this is an incredibly rare set used during the production of several classic animated theatrical shorts. Titles include The Hockey Champ, Donald's Golf Game, Good Scouts, Donald's Ostrich, Donald's Date (working title for Mr. Duck Steps Out), Bee at the Beach, No Sail, Feathered Frenzy, Straight Shooters, Sea Salts, Rugged Bear, Donald's Present, Mickey and the Beanstalk and more. These sheets were printed on photographic paper and used as references for the animators to create accurate and consistent character design. They offer great full-figure images of charming characters from Donald Duck films, including Daisy Duck, Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Donald Duck himself and more. The sheets range in size from 12.5" x 10" and 14" x 12". Made in very limited quantities, these studio-used prints are particularly rare artifacts. They show minor handling and edge wear with some light staining, toning and wrinkling. A substantial set of 19, the condition overall is Very Good.
