Description

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too Vintage Production Cel Featuring Pooh and Rabbit (Walt Disney, 1974). This fantastic vintage production cel spotlights Pooh and Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too (1974), the third Pooh featurette from Walt Disney Productions. Released December 20, 1974, as a double feature with Disney's live-action film, The Island at the Top of the World, the short earned an Academy Award® nomination for Best Animated Short Film and was later incorporated into The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (April 24, 1977). Produced and directed by Disney Legend Woolie Reitherman with co-director John Lounsbery-two of Walt's "Nine Old Men"-the story finds Rabbit exasperated by Tigger's bouncing, a scheme to "lose" him gone awry, and a heartwarming finale where everyone bounces together. This outstanding hand-painted 16-field cel presents generously sized images of Pooh and Rabbit, approximately 8" x 7," perfectly centered for display impact. Studio laminated and paired with a color print background, the setup bears a Disney seal and is attractively matted to 20" x 16." A charming snapshot of Hundred Acre Wood friendship and classic Disney animation craft. Some paint separation can be seen on Pooh's nose area. Condition is Very Good.
