The Jungle Book Dizzy, Mowgli, and Flaps Art Corner Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). "When you're alone, who comes around to pluck you when you are down?" Two of Mowgli's new friends, Dizzy and Flaps, help cheer him up in this wonderful hand-painted production cel from The Jungle Book, a fantastic piece originally sold at Disneyland's Art Corner store. The comical and easygoing vulture quartet was originally conceived as an homage to The Beatles down to their signature mop-top haircuts, with short-lived plans to have the band voice the characters and perform their accompanying song. This image can be seen at the 1:04:48 mark of the movie, featuring the three characters in full-figure sharing an image size of 8" x 6.5", and featured on a printed background. The cel is displayed on a 14.75" x 12.75" mat with a 10" x 8" mat opening, featuring the Art Corner golden sticker on its back. Mat is sold as-is. The cel shows faint waviness and minor handling wear from production. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
