101 Dalmatians Pongo, Perdita, and 6 Puppies Christmas Publicity Cel (Walt Disney, 1961/69). Prepare for the Holidays with this stunning hand-painted publicity cel featuring Pongo, Perdita, and six of their adorable puppies from Disney's famous animated film 101 Dalmatians. Renowned for its revolutionary use of Xerography to expedite the inking process, this beloved movie premiered on January 25, 1961, with re-releases in 1969, 1979, 1985, and 1991. Possibly created to promote the first re-release in 1969, this fabulous publicity cel has the canine couple and their puppies surrounded by a festive Christmas wreath with an image size of 9" x 10". The cel is shown on a 15.75" x 16.25" mat with a 10.25" x 10.5" opening. Mild waviness can be seen on the cel. In Very Good condition with very light handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
