Description
Lady and the Tramp "Bella Notte" Tramp and Lady Production Cel with Custom Overlay Cel (Walt Disney, 1955). "This is the night, it's a beautiful night, and we call it bella notte." From Lady and the Tramp, we present a stunning production cel and custom overlay cel of the titular lovers from the film during their romantic spaghetti dinner. The scene is the most recognizable and beloved from the 1955 animated feature and was turned into an even more unique find for collectors in this lot! The cel of Lady and Tramp was originally sold at the Art Corner store in Tomorrowland and is composed of two meticulously trimmed cels that have been attached to a new 16 field cel, both with individual noodles trimmed and attached to the hand-inked and hand-painted characters. Tramp appears at about 47:00 during the "Bella Notte" sequence as he enjoys Tony and Joe's delicious cooking, while the cel of Lady was created for the scene at around 1:02:30 when she thanks Trusty and Jock for being so kind after her heartbreak with Tramp. To complete the scene, we have a masterfully hand-painted cel overlay of the restaurant table and plate of noodles, all displayed on a print background from the "Bella Notte" sequence. The scene measures about 11'' x 9.5'' with the characters and overlay combined, creating a one-of-a-kind addition to your collection that will allow you to forever remember this iconic moment in Disney history.
