Star Trek III: The Search for Spock USS Enterprise Concept Drawing Signed by David Russell (Paramount, 1984). By the hand of the prolific concept/story artist David Russell, presented is an exceptionally rare original concept drawing featuring various potential models for the USS Enterprise, created for the sci-fi classic Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. These early concepts were created by Russell at the request of the film's Visual Effects Supervisor, a rare find from the artist's early career. David Russell's work includes storyboards for such lauded films as Tim Burton's Batman, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Color Purple, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and many more. Exciting alternate iterations of the iconic Star Trek starship, these drawings are rendered in graphite on a large sheet of 17" x 14" bond paper. The piece bears the signature of the artist, dated 1/83. The piece bears the hand-written notation "New Enterprise Design Concepts." Overall minor handling and edge wear with some wrinkling and tearing in the top and bottom edges. The condition is Very Good.
