The End of Evangelion Eva Unit 02 Production Cel Setup (Gainax, 1997). "Erste!" Asuka counts her first kill in German during her harrowing battle against Seele's mass-produced Eva series. This dynamic original production cel setup captures Eva Unit 02's first attack from the scene, when it upends the ground after a devastating strike. This incredible moment can be seen at approximately the 28:49 mark of the film The End of Evangelion, the thrilling and mind-bending conclusion to the acclaimed anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. A huge image from the masterfully-animated sequence attributed to the talents of Mitsuo Iso, Eva Unit 02 measures a whopping 10.75" x 11.75" on the 12 field cels (two cels are vertically aligned). This action-packed piece shows minor handling and edge wear with one cel showing a light fold in the upper left corner. There is some light surface scuffing, paper debris, and paint separation in the lower right corners of the cels, some of which is obstructed by the foreground cel.
