Description
Jurassic Park Mr. DNA Production Cel Group of 4 (Universal Studios, 1993). "Just one drop from your blood contains billions of strains of DNA, the building blocks of life." Besides the incredible animatronic dinosaurs, one of the best parts of the movie Jurassic Park is perhaps the short animated segment where Mr. DNA explains how the scientists at the park were able to use blood to clone dinosaurs. We have in this lot four extraordinary hand-inked and hand-painted production cels, featuring the informative and charismatic Mr. DNA, plus an additional one showing a dinosaur and a mosquito from the same animated sequence. On the first one, Mr. DNA measures 4.75" tall, followed by a great image of the animated character standing (or floating) at about 5.5". The third cel has an outstanding image of Mr. DNA turned into a dinosaur, measuring a sensational image size of 3.75" x 5.75". The last cel has a great image of a Jurassic mosquito flying around after getting the blood from the dinosaur in the background, featuring an exceptional image size of 12.25" x 9.25". Cels from this short animated part of the movie are very rare! The cels are presented on 18" x 14" mats with 11" x 8" opening, and they show very light handling wear from production.
