The Lion King Mufasa and Simba Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel Artist's Proof #AP1 (Walt Disney, 1994). "We're pals, right? - Right." Simba playfully wrestles Mufasa in this adorable employee-exclusive limited edition cel from The Lion King. Seen at the 24:52 mark of the film, this incredibly rare Artist Proof edition of the 16 field-sized limited edition cel shows a fabulous image size of 14" x 8.25" displayed on a photographic copy of the background. Since the movie was painted digitally, hand-painted limited edition cels like this one were created by Disney's Ink and Paint Department to be exclusively distributed to members of the Walt Disney Feature Animation crew; on top of that, this cel is numbered AP1 at the bottom right corner, marking this already rare cel as an even rarer Artist Proof! The cel features a Walt Disney Feature Animation Stamp in the bottom left corner and comes with a Certificate of Authentication. Minor handling and edge wear.
