Description

The Simpsons "Bart the Genius" Bart Simpson Production Cel and Key Master Background (Fox, 1990). "I had a little accident in chemistry today." Says Bart in the second episode of season one of the long-running series The Simpsons. We can see this outstanding image near the 20:49 mark in "Bart the Genius" after Bart swaps papers with Martin Prince during an intelligence test at school and is briefly thought to be a genius. The cel is hand-painted on 12 field acetate and presented on the original Key Master background. The background is made of a hand-painted cel over hand-cut color paper. Written by Jon Vitti with James L. Brooks, Sam Simon, and Matt Groening all serving as showrunners. The episode originally aired on January 14, 1990 and marked the first time that the opening sequence was used. The Simpsons has frequently made fun of the Emmys over the course of its 35-year span, being called the best and funniest TV show of the 1990s, it has never been nominated for an Emmy in the comedy category. Don't have a cow man, this production cel is in Very Good condition.
