While more than 1700 9.8 copies have been certified by CGC (blue label and signature), only eight copies have received the prestigious grade of 9.9 to date of this Modern Age key. It has been over eight years since we last encountered such a pristine copy! Spider-Man makes his first appearance in his infamous black costume, a costume that years later would take on a life of its own as Venom.
