Description
Roller Coaster Rabbit Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman Production Cel and "For Your Consideration" Ad (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1990). Here's a fantastic production cel featuring the zany hare Roger Rabbit and his cartoon co-star Baby Herman from the theatrical featurette Roller Coaster Rabbit. The short was released as a companion film to Touchstone's Dick Tracy on June 15, 1990. The cel is hand-painted on 16 field acetate and paired with a background copy/print. It contains a Disney seal in the lower right. With the launch of awards season comes the inevitable "For Your Consideration" awards campaigns. Each year, the major movie studios spend large sums of money during awards season on "For Your Consideration" ads extolling the virtues of their films or programs released over the previous year. Included is a framed trade magazine "For Your Consideration" advertisement. The ad is framed to 14" x 11.5". Frame sold as-is. The cel and ad come to auction from the collection of Walt Disney's former president of Feature Animation Peter Schneider. The cel and ad are in Very Good condition.From the Peter Schneider Collection, President of Disney Feature Animation (1986 - 1999).
