Ultraman Taro "Here He Is! Alien Mefilas!" Ultraman Taro, Condor 1, and Alien Mefilas II 7.75" x 10.75" Original Illustration (Tsuburaya Productions, c. 1973-74). "Earthlings, stop resisting! This world will soon be finished! Humans will die out and the age of Alien Mefilas shall begin!" Offered in this lot is a breathtaking original illustration of Ultraman Taro from the sixth Ultraman series by the same name. Featuring the hero alongside the Condor 1 high-speed fighter craft and the kaiju Alien Mefilas II, a reoccurring monster in the franchise who appears only in episode 27 of the Ultraman Taro series, this illustration was used in the creation of a 1973 children's coloring book as the eye-catching cover image. The illustration, attributed to Shinichi Sugiyama, has been phenomenally hand-painted in vivid acrylic and mixed media on board to a remarkable image size of 7.75" x 10.75". The absolutely stunning detail of this original piece is not to be missed! An official seal can be found in the lower right corner of the reverse side of the illustration. Presenting minor handling and edge wear including light corner creasing, remaining tape, and minor staining along the lower edge; the condition is Very Good.More information about Anime and Manga.
