Neon Genesis Evangelion Eva Unit 00 Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Gainax, c. 1995-96). Piloted by the enigmatic Rei Ayanami, Eva Unit 00 is featured here in this fantastic hand-painted original production cel from Hideaki Anno's game-changing mecha series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The biomechanical weapon designed to combat entities known as Angels nearly fills the 12 field cel in this impressive piece. Numbered A1END and C311 at the top edge, the cel is joined by its matching original animation drawing rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field animation paper. Each piece shows minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use, and the drawing includes production notes in red ink. Light paint debris on the drawing, and the cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. The condition is Very Good.
