Hercules Pair of Early Hydra Concept Drawings Signed by Thom Enriquez (Walt Disney, 1994/1997). An exciting inside look at what might have been, presented are two early original concept drawings featuring the Hydra from the Disney Renaissance classic Hercules. Created in 1994 (three years before the release of the film), these drawings give the creature a monstrous, bug-like design, rendered masterfully in ink and graphite on bond paper by Disney concept artist Thom Enriquez. Thom Enriquez contributed to the development of several acclaimed Disney Renaissance films, included The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, and Aladdin, among others. These enormous drawings measure 11" x 17", and they show minor handling and edge wear with pinholes in the corners, indication use in the development process of Hercules. Signed by the artist, the condition of this stellar set is Very Good.From the Disney Character Designer/Artist Thom Enriquez Collection.
