Beauty and the Beast Burger King Commercial Production Cel Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1991). Here's a remarkable trio of production cels featuring a fantastic closeup of the Beast. These three 16 field cels were created by Disney Feature Animation for a 1991 Burger King commercial, making them some of the only actual production cels for Beauty and the Beast to exist! They come to auction from the collection of Peter Schneider. Schneider was the first president of Walt Disney Feature Animation from 1985 to 1999. He is credited for turning the feature animation department around while creating some of the most critically acclaimed and highest grossing animated features that Disney released. This includes The Lion King (1994), the highest domestic grossing animated film for nearly a decade. The cels are numbered 11, 35, and 25 in the lower right. The cels exhibit very little handling wear and are in Very Good condition.From the President of Disney Feature Animation (1986 - 1999) Peter Schneider Collection.
