Beauty and the Beast Belle and Beast Golden Globe Commemoration Cel (Walt Disney, 1991). On January 18, 1992, the Disney Renaissance animated film Beauty and the Beast won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, Best Original Score, and Best Original Song for the theme "Beauty and the Beast." To commemorate the occasion, this sensational promotional cel was created, featuring the proud protagonist posing in front of the well-deserved award. Created by the Disney Ink and Paint Department, this hand-painted cel showcases a fantastic image of Belle and Beast with the award measuring together an image size of 7.25" x 10.25", showcasing a Disney Animation Gallery stamp in the bottom right corner. The lot is presented on a 20.25" x 16.25" Plexiglas-fronted frame with a 14.5" x 10.5" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
