Description
The End of Evangelion Mass-Production Eva Production Cel (Gainax, 1997). "The Evas are operational again!" In a catastrophic change of events, the seemingly defeated Mass-Production Evas start moving once more. Offered in this lot is an extraordinary hand-painted production cel showcasing one of the dreadful Mass-Production Evangelions leaking blood-like fluid from a blade, stilled suck on its head, from one of the most shocking moments of the film The End of Evangelion. This 12-field production cel is numbered B2 in the top right corner and presents the monstrous Eva measuring 9" x 7", as it appears at the 38:55 timestamp, just before it shows its spine-chilling grin. The cel is shown on a printed background for presentation purposes, taped to it with archival artist tape. With minor fading on the linework and overall minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
