Description
Heavy Metal "So Beautiful & So Dangerous" Dr. Anrak and Gloria Production Cel and Animation Drawing Sequence of 7 (Columbia, 1981). An alien ship sucks the android Dr. Anrak and the buxom stenographer Gloria through a tube in this excellent sequence of three hand-painted original production cels from Heavy Metal. Based on the sci-fi comics magazine of the same name, Heavy Metal is a cult-classic animation anthology centered around an evil presence known as Loc-Nar. Seen early on in the comedic segment "So Beautiful & So Dangerous," this generous set is joined by its three matching original animation drawings and one rough layout drawing, all rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. Each piece shows minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use with some surface scuffing/debris and light foxing. Light folds in some corners, and the condition overall is Good.Auction Info
