Description
Stan Drake Blondie Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-16-86 (King Features Syndicate, 1986). Dagwood gets a little too comfortable which ends up getting him a ride home with the police in this Sunday created in classic Chic Young style by Drake. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16.75" x 11.25". The slightly toned board has a stat title paste-up, text and art correction paste-ups, residue staining from missing paste-ups, and taped production marks on the sides. The board is creased vertically between the panels with staple holes at the top. Personalized signature by writer Dean Young in the first panel. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
