Arthur Rackham The Zankiwank and the Bletcher Witch Page 145 Preliminary Sketch Original Art (Alpine House EC, 1896). Arthur Rackham is known for being one of the leading literary figures during the Golden Age of British book illustration. His illustrations have been paired with the literary classics such as "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", "Gulliver's Travel's" and more. Offered here is a unique preliminary sketch for his work in S.J. Adair Fitzgerald book The Zankiwank and the Bletcher Witch. Created in ink on paper with an image area of 6.25" x 10.5" matted to 14" x 15". Overall toning, foxing spots, adhesive residue on the back top margin, slight wear to edges and corners.
