Description
William Overgard Steve Roper & Mike Nomad Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 4 (Field Enterprises, Inc., 1971). This American adventure comic strip was published under various titles beginning on November 23, 1936 as Big Chief Wahoo (1936-45), to December 26, 2004, when the strip ended. The focus and title character of the strip changed over time to Chief Wahoo and Steve Roper (1945-1946), Steve Roper and Wahoo (1946-1948), Steve Roper (1948-1969) and finally Steve Roper and Mike Nomad (1969-2004). These early 70's episodes were produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 18.5" x 5.5". They average Very Good condition or better.Auction Info
