The Human Torch #7 (Timely, 1942) CGC FN- 5.5 Cream to off-white pages. The Alex Schomburg Rising Sun cover is credited by Overstreet as being the first Japanese war cover. The issue also contains a 20-page Sub-Mariner story. Carl Burgos story and art. Al Simon art. To date a mere two copies of #7 have been assigned a higher grade by CGC. Overstreet 2023 FN 6.0 value = $1,296. CGC census 6/24: 2 in 5.5, 28 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
