Mickey Mouse - Vespa Concept Drawing Original Art by Carson Van Osten Group of 12 (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). Italian-made Vespa scooters are wildly popular in Europe. Here's a series of 12 concept drawings by Disney Legend Carson Van Osten (1945 - 2015) for a proposed French book or ad campaign featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. Nine of the pieces are single drawings on onionskin paper in various sizes ranging from 6.5" x 7.75" to 9" x 12"; one is in blue pencil, with the rest in graphite. There are also three 8.5" x 11" bond paper sheets with multiple (up to 6) graphite sketches; one with extensive notes. Art comes in a 9.5" x 11.5" file folder from Carson's personal files.
