Description

George Pérez Avengers / JLA Illustration Original Art (c. 2002). Signed and dated 2002 in the top left, this piece was created before the release of the four-issue mini-series in 2003. A wonderful mix of 16 Marvel and DC characters, this piece may have been used to promote the upcoming series in a trade magazine or distribution catalog. Featured characters include: Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers, now known as Captain Marvel), Captain Marvel (in theaters as "Shazam"), Black Panther, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Quicksilver, Plastic Man, Wonderman, Steel, Red Tornado, Photon, Zatanna, Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner, Jack of Hearts, Hawkman, and Hercules. Created in ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.5". Personalized and signed in the top margin. In Excellent condition.
