The Brave and the Bold #1 (DC, 1955) CGC FN+ 6.5 Cream to off-white pages. The classic line-up of the Viking Prince, Silent Knight, and Golden Gladiator debuted in this issue, launching a phase of adventure-themed features that defined the title's first few years. The cover is by Irv Novick, and the interior art is by Novick, Joe Kubert, and Russ Heath. A very nice mid-grade copy. Overstreet 2014 FN 6.0 value = $909; VF 8.0 value = $2,500.
